Copilot Palette: Smart Help Trigger
Looking something up usually means breaking off what you were doing. Smart Help Trigger removes that step. With the Copilot Palette open, the moment you activate a supported tool the matching Help page appears inside the palette — no external help file, no browser tab, no leaving the drawing. The documentation simply follows whatever you just picked up.
Requires an active Copilot Help or Copilot Professional licence.
Turning it on or off
- Open Options → Program Setup.
- Select the General tab.
- Under Help Settings, find Smart Help Trigger.
- Check or uncheck it.
How it behaves
- The Copilot Palette must be open.
- Select a tool — the Box tool from the Draw menu, for example — and its documentation page loads automatically inside the palette.
- The content updates as you move between tools, so the guidance always matches what you are doing right now.
