Advanced 2D/3D Drafting, Surface, Solid Modelling and Rendering.
TurboCAD Professional provides an advanced platform for 2D and 3D design, drafting and modelling suitable for all aspects of CAD design and has a client list going back thirty years.
It is used in a wide variety of professions, not only architects, our customers include Sir Robert McAlpine and Taylor Wimpy, but engineers from home workshops to companies that worked on the design of the latest Airbus.
A significant number of TurboCAD users are in the interior design profession. Everyone from carpenters to roofers use TurboCAD to plan their projects. Forward planning saves time and waste and gives you the edge over competitors. Once a kitchen is drawn in 3D, different materials can be applied to surfaces with the click of a mouse. It can be viewed in isometric, perspective, plan form, all as a line drawing or as a fully photorealistic image.
Thousands of engineering companies use TurboCAD from locksmiths, fence and gate manufacturers, wrought iron specialists, assembling plants, injection moulding companies, sheet metal works, just about anyone needing to design an object that needs to be formed or made.
Garden designers and builders planning extensions can photograph the existing site with their mobile phone, import the picture into TurboCAD and place their proposed new design on the original, this takes seconds.

TurboCAD’s three main strengths are:
- Easy to learn & use. TurboCAD does not take weeks to learn and the basics can be picked up very quickly even by less experienced CAD users. If you do need help, there are ample training materials available as well as Training days held by experienced CAD trainers. Technical support by e-mail and telephone is free and unlimited, with no yearly charges.
- Compatibility. TurboCAD reads and saves in all the main file formats, including DWG, DXF, STEP, STL and saves as PDF, making sharing drawings with others using a different CAD program simple. Emailing designs to
a client who does not have a CAD package as an e-mail attachment is easy. It also has two way compatibility with Google SketchUp, enabling your designs to be placed anywhere in the world via Google Earth. - Affordable. It is at an affordable price making it a realistic tool for anyone needing to plan and visualise 3D designs – anything from kitchen and bathroom design, landscaping, children’s play areas, stage sets,), security devices such as locks, factory layouts etc.
TurboCAD contains features normally only found in CAD solutions costing thousands of pounds more. It utilises advanced industry-standard technology including ACIS® v20 modelling engine, LightWorks® and Redway3D® rendering engines and D-Cubed 2D Constraints Manager from Siemens PLM, with advanced pattern constraints and new parametric tools and symbols.
